INTERNET CONNECTIONS
We’re proud to celebrate the Chapter Houses that are already connected to high-speed internet. These communities are leading the way in creating access to education, services, and opportunity for all.
What is E-Rate?
The E-Rate Program is a federally funded initiative that helps pay for high-speed internet and Wi-Fi connections in schools and libraries—including Chapter libraries across the Navajo Nation. This program covers most, if not all, of the costs to bring broadband to these community hubs.
Why It Matters:
With E-Rate-supported internet, NN Chapter Libraries can offer free access to essential online services like:
Telehealth appointments for medical care without travel
Online school and educational resources
Email/online banking
Job applications and workforce tools
This is a powerful opportunity to bridge the digital divide and help community members thrive.
